For the third straight season, Framber Valdez is getting the Opening Day start for the Astros. The news was announced earlier today by manager Joe Espada.
Valdez went 12-11, with a 3.45 ERA last season for the Astros. Astros face the New York Yankees at Minute Maid Park on March 28, to start the 2024 season.
