Astros Hit a Season High 6 Homers in 10-2 Win Over Mariners

The Astros dominated from start to finish Friday night and routed the Seattle Mariners, 10-2. Houston hit a season-high six home runs in the blow out win.

Yordan Alvarez, Jake Marisnick, Martin Maldonado, Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa and Aledmys Diaz all left the yard. The last time the Astros hit six bombs in a game was May 31, 2017 when they beat the Minnesota Twins, 17-6. George Springer recorded four hits and a run scored Friday night.

Wade Miley was solid once again to earn his 10th win of the season. Miley lasted six innings while giving up two earned runs on three hits. He walked five and struck out six.

Aaron Sanchez will make his debut as an Astro Saturday night as he takes the mound in game two of the series. First pitch is scheduled for 6:10pm.
